Advent and Christmas in Somerset Mendip
There is lots going on across our circuit this December. Advent begins on November 28th and over the 4 weeks until we mark the birth of Christ, services and events will tell us the story and prepare us for that wonderful day.

Come and see the church decked out with many Christmas trees from different local organisations.

Cheddar Methodist Church is joining the fun at the annual Cheddar Festive Night on 3rd December.
The church will be decorated, the school choir and U3A choir will be singing Christmas songs, there will be mince pies, fruit punch and activities for children.
On 10th December we shall be hosting a Christmas Concert by Strike-a-Chord Male Choir.
On 19th December we shall be holding our traditional Carol service at 4 pm and on Christmas Day at 10 am we shall be celebrating the joy of the birth of Christ.
We welcome everyone to our services.

Our Christmas Day Service at Oakhill Methodist Chapel is at 10:15am, informal, child-friendly, and lasts about 45 minutes maximum
